Here's something I think about. We spend our whole lives performing for people who know our name. Our opinions get softer. Our honesty gets smaller. We edit ourselves into someone acceptable. What would you actually say if nobody knew it was you? I mean actually say, not what sounds good. What's true? Record it. I want to hear it.
