I need to vent and I do not know where to go

You do not need someone to fix it.

You do not need advice. You are not asking for a solution or a reframe or a gentle suggestion that maybe you should try therapy. You just need to say the thing out loud somewhere, to get it out of your body and into the world in some form, because you have been carrying it alone long enough that it has started to feel like part of you and you do not want it to be part of you.

This is a completely normal thing to need. Humans are not built to carry things alone indefinitely. We were not designed that way. The feelings that have no place to go do not disappear. They settle somewhere. In the way you hold your shoulders. In the tiredness that sleep does not fix. In the sharpness that comes out sideways in conversations about something else entirely.

The problem is not the feeling. The problem is that the feeling has nowhere to go.

And finding somewhere is harder than it should be. The people close to you are part of the story. The people far from you do not know the backstory. Therapy takes time to book and feels large for something you are not even sure deserves a session. The blank text box of a random app does not feel safe enough to say the real version.

So it sits. And you carry it. And you search at 11pm for somewhere to put it and do not quite find the right place.

If you are here because of that search, here is what to do.

Say it out loud right now. Not to anyone. Just out loud, in your own voice, wherever you are. The car. The bathroom. A voice memo on your phone. An anonymous voice app where no one knows your name.

The thing you say does not have to be organised. It does not have to make sense. It does not have to be fair or proportionate or ready for an audience.

It just has to come out.

That is enough to start with.

Something has been sitting with you. You do not need your name attached to it.

Say it on Ekcho
